Ceit is a participating member of the Thematic Network on Smart Vehicles (RETEVI)
Engineers from Ceit-IK4’s Intelligent Transport Systems Group are working with the newly formed Thematic Network on Smart Vehicles, whose objective is to establish a joint action framework for research actions related to autonomous vehicles and communications.
The network, which is financed by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, is coordinated by the University Institute of Automobile Research (INSIA) at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). It brings together organizations that are leaders in research on intelligent transport systems and intelligent highway vehicles. The diversity of the network’s members ensures that cutting-edge approaches and technological tools will be used in its research on intelligent transport systems, which encompasses self-driving vehicles, inter-vehicle communications, cooperative systems and vehicle sensors.
