The results of Ceit-IK4´s applied investigations can be seen in the research & development projects carried out with client companies and the articles written and published by our team of researchers.
Over the past five years, the number of thesis, congress’s organised by Ceit-IK4 and articles published in numerous journals have increased substantially.
Ceit-IK4 is focused on the clear transference of acquired knowledge as different areas progress research, which cements its place in the scientific community.
Activity of the Areas
Ceit-IK4 is composed of three departments (Materials, Applied Mechanics and Electronic & Communication) and two sections (Environmental Engineering and Microelectronics & Microsystems). What differentiates a department and a section is the size, the latter being smaller. The pie chart shows the number of researchers working and projects by department and section.
The Material’s department being established the longest, hold the highest number of active ongoing projects. The Communications research area combined with Electronics, one of the most recently formed departments can be seen to have progressed sizeably.
